- Provide a vehicle for community service among student teachers, current teachers, business members/employees, other interested individuals.
We Succeed Grade Improvement Incentive Program
- Coordinate rewards to students for academic growth as indicated by report card grades
- Provide businesses with a way to reward students for their report cards
- Collaborate with area teachers to provide the reward for students who have improved their report card grades by one letter grade or more without going down in other grades; and provide the reward for students who have a "B" average (3.0 gpa) and above, regardlesss of growth
Recruiting Businesses for Community Service
- Present programs to area businesses and encourge community service via these programs
Raising Awareness
- Organizations and Businesses can contribute to the success of communities of students. We give presentations about how your business can help solidify a long term investment in the future of the students in our community, while at the same time increasing traffic to your business.
Participating Businesses
Many businesses have participated in our We Succeed Grade Improvement Incentive Program. These businesses have shown their commitment to investing in the future of our community by providing rewards to local students for improving their grades.
Participating business have provided these rewards in the past:
- free small pizzas
- free game of bowling
- free ice cream
- free kids buffets
- free chicken sandwich
- free kid's meals
- discounted activities
Program Participant Groups
The tutoring program is open to any student, grades K-12 who live and attend a school located in the Monroeville and/or Pitcairn communities.
We Succeed is currently available only to students who attend the 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grades in our current local public school system.
Any business in the Monroeville or Pitcairn communities is invited to participate in this program. Any business that can provide a local reward is also invited to participate.
